Özet
Çalışmanın amacı Türkiyede illerin sosyoekonomik gelişmişlik düzeylerini coğrafi bölgeler itibariyleincelemektir. Çalışmada illerin sosyoekonomik gelişmişliğini tanımlayan 63 değişken kullanılmıştırve sosyoekonomik gelişmişlik düzeyi temel bileşenler analizi ile araştırılmıştır. İllerin 2012 yılısosyoekonomik gelişmişlik endeks değerlerinden yararlanarak 7 coğrafi bölgenin ve coğrafibölgelere göre illerin sosyoekonomik gelişmişlik sıralaması yapılmıştır. Araştırmanın ampirik bulgularısosyoekonomik gelişmişliğin ülke genelinde dengeli dağılmadığını göstermektedir.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to examine the socioeconomic development levels of provinces in Turkeyaccording to geographical regions. In the study, it is used 63 variables that define the socioeconomicdevelopment of provinces and the socioeconomic development levels are investigated by principalcomponent analysis. The socioeconomic development rankings of seven geographic region and theprovinces based on geographical regions are done by using the year of 20 12 socioeconomic developmentindexes of provinces. Empirical findings of the study indicate that the socioeconomic development is notequally distributed across of the country.
