MALE GENDER AUTOMOBILE DEMAND STRUCTURE AND CHANGES IN THEIR PREFERENCES IN ISTANBUL

Özet

İstanbul’da nüfus artışına bağlı olarak otomobil talebi sürekli artmaktadır. Çeşitli nedenlere bağlı olarakheterojen bir mal olan otomobil bir çok marka ve modelle farklı tüketici grupları için farklı talepleroluşturmaktadır. Bu anket çalışmasında İstanbul ilinde erkek cinsiyeti otomobil talebi tercihindeyapısal değişimler ortaya konmuştur. Zamana ve kullanım tecrübesine bağlı olarak tüketici tercihlerive dolayısıyla da otomobil talebi tipi değişmektedir.

Abstract

The demand for automobile has been increasing in Istanbul in paralel with inreases inpopulation. Depending upon various factors the automobile by being differentiated product creates various demands for different consumer groups with many brands and models. The effects of the characteristics affecting the automobile demand were investigated in this survey conducted on male gender in Istanbul. Factors affecting the decision to buy cars and the characteristics of the cars that affect the demand have been mentioned. And demand for automobile type may change as consumer preferences changes over time and automobile use experiences.
