Özet

Bu çalışmanın amacı, okulun kâr amaçlı işletilmesi düşünce ve uygulamalarının olası sonuçlarını ortaya koyabilmektir. Betimsel nitelik taşıyan bu araştırmada, ilgili literatür taranarak; okul ve işletme kavramları çözümlenmiş, okulun işletmeye dönüştürülmesinin sonuçları açıklanmıştır. Çalışmayla bazı benzerliklerine rağmen okulun işletmeden farklı, özgün bir örgüt olarak değerlendirilmesi gerektiği ve okulun kâr amaçh işletilmesiyle -özelleştirilerek- işlevinden uzaklaştırılacağı sonucuna varılmıştır.

Abstract

The aim ot this study is to find out the potential outcomes of concept and implementation of running a profit oriented school. Having a descriptive nature, this study studied the concepts of school and enterprise by scanning the literature and releases the outcomes of transforming school into enterprise. Despite some similarities with the study, the school should be considered differently from enterprise as a unique organization, and it has been concluded that running school with profit focused approach and privatization would deviate it from its function.
