Özet
Amaç: Bu araştırmada Akdeniz Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi son sınıf öğrencilerinde tükenmişlik durumu ve etkili olabilecek bazı değişkenlerin incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Gereç ve yöntem: Kesitsel tipteki bu araştırmanın evreni Akdeniz Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesinde okuyan 6. sınıf öğrencileridir (katılım oranı: %82.5). Araştırmada tükenmişlik düzeyinin ölçülmesi için Maslach Tükenmişlik Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Maslach Tükenmişlik Ölçeği “duygusal tükenme”, “duyarsızlaşma” “kişisel basarı boyutu” alt başlıklarından oluşmaktadır. İstatistiksel analizlerde bağımlı gruplarda t testi kullanılmıştır. Bulgular: Duygusal tükenme puanı Adli Tıp Anabilim Dalında çalışan intörnlerde en yüksekti. Tükenme puanını, gece nöbetleri, dinlenme saati ve son sınıf öğrencileri için verilen dersler etkilemekteydi. Sonuç: Bulgular son sene eğitiminin tükenmişlik sendromu açısından önemine vurgu yapmaktadır.
Abstract
Aim: To investigate burnout status and affecting factors on it among the last year medical faculty students. Materials and methods: This study was a crosssectional study and 85 out of 103 (participation rate: %82.5) last year student interviewed in this study. The Maslach Burnout Inventory was used to assess the burnout status. The Maslach Burnout Inventory consists of three subscales measuring the emotional exhaustion, the depersonalization and the personal accomplishment. Paired t test was used in statistical analyses. Findings: The findings of this study revealed that emotional exhaustion scores were higher among medical students who worked in Forensic Medicine Department. Burnout score was affected by night duties, spare time and lectures for last year student. Conclusion: These results indicate the importance of the last year education in terms of burnout syndrome.
