50 Yılda (1960-2010)Van ili'nde Kır-şehir nüfus değişimi

Özet

Bu çalışmada 1950 ile 2010 yılı arasındaki 50 yıllık süreçte Van ilinde kır-şehir nüfus oranında meydana gelen değişimlerin incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Ülkemizde 1960 sonrası başlayan hızlı şehirleşme döneminde, TÜÎK verileri kullanılarak Van 'ın durumu irdelenmiştir. İlde kır-şehir nüfus oranının değişimini etkileyen faktörle beraber nüfus özellikleri de analiz edilmiştir. Van'da sayım dönemlerinin tümünde şehir nüfusu oranı Türkiye ortalamasının altında kalmıştır. Elli yıllık periyodun başında ilin şehirleşme oranı ülke ortalamasına göre % 10 oranında daha geride iken periyodun sonunda bu fark % 25'e çıkmıştır. Elli yıllık süreçte Van ili genelinde şehirleşme oranı sürekli artmasına rağmen ilin şehirleşme oranı ile ülke ortalaması arasındaki farkın artmasının nedeni ildeki şehirleşme hızının ülke ortalamasın göre yavaş olmasıdır. 1960-2010 döneminin başında Van'da % 20 civarında olan şehirli nüfus oranı dönemin sonunda % 51 'e yükselmiştir. Aynı dönemde kırsal nüfus oranında yaklaşık % 30 'luk bir azalma olmuş ve bu oran % 49'a gerilemiştir. Elli yıllık devrede ilin toplam nüfusu yaklaşık 5 kat, şehir nüfusu 25 kat köy nüfusu ise 3 kat artmıştır. Bu dönemde Van Şehri 'nin nüfusu da çok hızlı bir şekilde artarak yaklaşık 22 binden 360 bine çıkmıştır. Diğer bir ifadeyle Van Şehri'nin nüfusu %1536 oranında artmıştır. 50 yıllık dönemin başında İl toplam nüfusunun sadece % 10'unu oluşturan Van Şehri'nin 2010 yılı itibariyle toplam nüfusun % 36'sını oluşturduğu görülür. 1960-2010 döneminde sayım sonuçları incelendiğinde il nüfusunun kır-şehir dağılımında önemli değişikliklerin meydana geldiği görülmektedir.

Abstract

In this study, 50-year period between 1950 and 2010 in Van province, is aimed to investigate the changes of rural-urban population ratio. The period of rapid urbanization in our country started after 1960, using data from TÜÎK Van was examined. Factors affecting the exchange rate of rural-urban population of the province with the population characteristics were also analyzed. In all periods of Van counting rate of urban population were below the average in Turkey. Fifty-year period at the beginning of urbanization of the province, while further back than the average for the period by 10% to 25%, this difference was at the end. Fifty-year period despite the constantly increasing rate of urbanization in the provinces of Van province with the national average urbanization rate of urbanization in the province because of the difference between the rate of increase is slower than the country's average. Van at the beginning of the period of 1960-2010, which was around 20% of urban population ratio rose to 51% at the end of the period. Approximately a 30% reduction in the rate of rural population in the same period and this rate was decreased to 49%. Approximately 5 times the total population of the province fifty-year period, the city population has increased 3 times to 25 times the population of the village. The city of Van very quickly in this period the population has increased by approximately 22 thousand to 360 thousand. In other words, the city of Van increased by 1536% of the population. At the beginning of the period of 50 years make up only 10% of total population of the city of Van province by the year 2010 is formed by about 36% of the total population. The results of counting the period of 1960-2010 is analyzed important changes have occurred in the province's population are rural-urban distribution.
