Özet
Biyografik kaynaklar son dönem Osmanlı şairlerindenManastırlı Mehmed Rif’at (ö. 1907)’in bir Dîvânçe’sininbulunduğunu kaydederler. Bu Dîvânçe veya Mecmû’a-i Eş’ârMehmed Rif’at hayatta iken basılmadığı ve elyazması hâli demuhtemelen müsvedde hâlinde kaldığı için günümüzeulaşamamıştır. Ancak, İstanbul Üniversitesi Nadir EserlerKütüphanesi Katalogu’na kayıtlı bir yazma eser, MehmedRif’at’in bu kayıp Dîvânçe/Mecmû’a-i Eş’âr’ından izlertaşımaktadır. Bu yazmada yer alan terkîb-bend nazım şekliyleyazılmış şiir, Rif’at’in tezkirelerde zikredilen Kerbelâmersiyesidir. Bu çalışmada, Manastırlı Mehmed Rif’at’a aitmersiyenin transkripsiyonlu metni ve diliçi çevirisi verilmiştir.Bu şiir aynı zamanda Fars şairi Muhteşem-i Kâşânî (ö.1588)’nin Kerbelâ mersiyesinin nazmen tercümesi olduğu içintranskripsiyonlu metnin dışında mersiye, Farsça aslıylamukayese edilmiş ve metnin Osmanlı tercüme geleneğindekiyeri değerlendirilmiştir.
Abstract
Biographical sources record that Manastırlı MehmedRif'at (dod. 1907), one of the late Ottoman poets, has aDîvânçe. Since this Dîvânçe or Mecmû'a-i Eş'âr MehmedRif'at was not published while he was alive, and themanuscript is probably in draft form, it has not survived. However, a manuscript registered in the IstanbulUniversity Rare Works Library Catalog bears traces of thislost Dîvânçe/Mecmû'a-i Eş'âr by Mehmed Rif'at. Thepoem in this manuscript, written in the form of "Terkîb bend" verse, is the Karbala dirge of Rif'at mentioned in thebiographies. In this study, the transcribed text andintralingual translation of the elegy of Mehmed Rif'at ofManastır are given. Since this poem is also a versetranslation Karbala dirge of the Persian poet Muhteşem-iKâşânî (dod. 1588), apart from the transcripted text, thedirge has been compared with the Persian original and the place of the text in the Ottoman translation tradition hasbeen evaluated.
