Eğil Rüşdiye Mektebi 'nin tarihçesi ve eğitim kadrosu

Özet

Osmanlı taşrasında 1870lerden itibaren başlayan yenileşme döneminde, Eğildeortaöğretim alanında açılan tek okul rüşdiye mektebidir. Eğil Rüşdiye Mektebi olarak kayıtlarageçen bu okul, 1873 yılında resmen açıldı. 1897 yılına kadar muallim -i sanilikle idare olundu. Buyıldan itibaren ise muallim -i evvellik düzeyine terfi etti. 1909 yılı Haziranında kapanıncaya kadararalıksız olarak öğretime devam etti.Mektebin eğitim öğretime açık olduğu süre içinde, isimleri tespit edilebilen 9 muallimburada görev yaptı.Mektebin 36 yıllık tarihinde talebe sayısı, son birkaç yıl hariç, hemen hemen 20nin altınadüşmedi. Son yıllarda talebe sayısının düşmesinde ve okulun kapanma noktasına gelmesinde,mektebin tarihi süreci içerisinde devam eden bazı olumsuz faktörler etkili oldu. Bu çalışmada; nahiye merkezinde uzun yıllar ibtidai mektebi olmadığı halde açılan ve 36 yıleğitim öğretim hizmeti veren bir rüşdiye mektebinin tarihçesi, talebe ve muallim sayısı ilemuallimlerin özellikleri ve mektebin kapanma noktasına gelmesine neden olan faktörler hakkındayerel kaynaklar ve bilhassa arşiv belgeleri ışığında bir değerlendirme yapıldı.

Abstract
