Özet

Bu çalışma, Van-Gevaş ekolojik koşullarında değişik fosfor dozlarının, patates çeşitlerinde yumru kalibrasyonu (Yumru iriliğine göre dağılım) ve yumru kalitesi üzerine etkilerini belirlemek amacıyla 2001 ve 2002 yıllarında yürütülmüştür. Denemede 3 farklı patates çeşidinde (Latona, Vangogh ve Granola) 4 değişik fosfor dozu (0, 5, 10 ve 15 kg $P_2O_5$ /da) uygulanmıştır. Çalışma tesadüf bloklarında faktöriyel deneme desenine göre 3 tekrarlamak olarak kurulmuştur. Fosfor dozlarının orta yumru oranı, büyük yumru oranı, nişasta oranı ve kuru madde miktarı üzerine etkisinin önemli olmadığı, küçük yumru oranı ve ocak başına yumru verimi üzerine etkisinin ise önemli olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Çalışma sonucunda iki yılın birleştirilmiş ortalamasına göre en yüksek orta yumru oranı %48.9 ile 10 $P_2O_5$ /da uygulamasından, en yüksek ocak başına yumru verimi ise 538.1 g/ocak ile 5 kg $P_2O_5$ /da uygulamasından ve en yüksek nişasta oranı %14.3 ile 15 kg P2O5/da uygulamasından elde edilmiştir. Denemeye alman patates çeşitlerinde incelenen tüm özellikler çeşitlere göre farklılık göstermiştir. İki yılın birleştirilmiş ortalamasına göre çalışmada en yüksek orta yumru oranı %52.4 ile Granola çeşidinden, en yüksek ocak başına yumru verimi ve en yüksek nişasta oranı sırasıyla 541.1 g/ocak ve %14.5 ile Vangogh patates çeşidinden elde edilmiştir.

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the effects of various phosphorous doses on the tuber calibration (the grade of tuber based on their size) and quality of different potato cultivars (Solarium tuberosum L.) grown at the Gevaş-Van ecological condition in 2001 and 2002. The study was designed in completely randomized block factorial design with three replications consisting three potato cultivars (Latona, Vangogh and Granola) and four phosphorous doses (0, 5, 10, and 15 kg $P_2O_5 da^{-1}$ ) It was detected that the phosphorous doses had no significant effect on the medium sized tuber ratio and the big sized tuber ratio, the tuber dry matter, and the tuber starch content while they significantly affected the small sized tuber ratio and the tuber yield per hill. According to the average values of both years, the application of 10 kg $P_2O_5 da^{-1}$ gave the highest amount of medium sized tuber rate (48.9 %); the application of 5 kg $P_2O_5 da^{-1}$ gave the highest tuber yield per hill (538.1 g); the application of 15 kg $P_2O_5 da^{-1}$ gave the highest tuber starch content (14.3 %); All cultivars had significantly different values for all traits. The highest amount of medium sized tuber rate (52.4 %) was detected in the cultivar Granola. The cultivar Vangogh had the highest tuber yield per hill (541.1 g) and the highest tuber starch content (14.5 %);
