Abstract

In this study; humic acid, which is one of the organic sources in soil, used in plant cultivation withincreasing doses, the effects can be investigated over potassium. Research, Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University,Department of Soil Science and Plant Nutrition nylon covered unheated greenhouse, was conducted between08.03.2013 and 17.05.2013. As experimental material TKI Humas used and grown in pots Helen varieties ofmaize in the six different doses (0, 2, 4, 6, 8 and 10 L ha-1) of humic acid by applying the plants grown in thenumber of leaves, plant height, stem girth, root weight, body wet weight, root dry weight, shoot dry weight, potassium in the soil can be obtained, and in plant roots total potassium parameters were studied in the plantbody. As a result of experiment, the amount of potassium by the plant received HA numerically increasingdosage increased but this increase was observed to be at a statistically insignificant was determined.
