Özet

Postoperatif peritoneal yapışıklıklar intrabdominal cerra¬hiyi takiben ortaya çıkan önemli bir sorundur. Bu çalış¬mada karboksimetil sellüloz (CMC) ve dextran 40'ın peri¬toneal yapışıklıkları önlemedeki etkileri araştırıldı. 15'er-lik 3 gruba ayrılan 45 sıçana laparotomi yapılarak çekum ve terminal ileumda serozal yaralanma oluşturuldu. Kont¬rol grubuna intraperitoneal olarak 5 cc % 0.9'luk sodyum klorür, 2. gruba 5 cc dextran 40, 3. gruba 5 cc % 1 CMC verildi. Postoperatif 12. gün relaparotomi yapılarak karın içi yapışıklıklar değerlendirildi. Dextran 40 ve CMC'un peritoneal yapışıklıkların sıklık ve derecesini kontrol gru¬buna oranla anlamlı derecede azalttığı gözlendi (p=0.0283 ve p=0.0038). CMC verilenlerde dextran 40 verilenlere oranla yapışıklık açısından anlamlı fark bulu¬namadı (p=0.6776).

Abstract

The Preventive Effects of Carboxymethyl Cellulose and Dextran 40 on the intraperitoneal Adhesions The development of adhesions following intraabdominal surgery consumes an important surgical problem. The ef¬fects of carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) and dextran 40 to preventing the postoperatively developing peritoneal ad¬hesions were investigated. Terminal ileum and cecal brushings were carried out via laparotomy on three groups each consisting of 15 rats. 5 cc % 0.9 of isotonic NaCl is instillated intraperitoneally to the group 1, and 5 cc dextran 40 to the group 2, and 5 cc % 1 CMC to the group 3. All rats were sacrified after 12 days of operation and the presence and extent of the adhesions were evalu¬ated. The adhesions in the groups 2 and 3 are found sig¬nificantly lower than the group 1 (p=0.0283 and p=0.0038). There was not any significant difference be¬tween group 2 and 3 with respect to the peritoneal adhe¬sions (p=0.6776).
