Blind loop sendromu: Olgu sunumu

Abstract

A Case of Blind Loop Syndrome Blind loop syndrome is a rare clinical condition and this syndrome is a combination of symptoms caused by bacte¬rial overgrowth in a port of the gut. Diarrheae, steator-rhoea and abdominal pain are characteristic symptoms. Macrocytic anaemia and loss of weight are due to vitamin deficiencies and malabsorption. It commonly occurs where a small bowel stricture causes relative stasis of the contents. We would like to present our blind loop case due to Heal resection and end to side ileo-transversostomy anastomosis. The results of surgery and medical treatment were favorable and the patient completely relieved now.
