Özet

Günümüzde inguinal herni onarımında kullanılacak ideal teknik üzerinde bir fikir birliği sağlanmamıştır. Kliniğimizde yaptığımız bir çalışma ile randomize olarak seçilen olgulara uygulanan Lichtenstein mesh, Shouldice ve posterior wall darn tipi herniorafilerin postoperatif erken ve geç dönem sonuçlarını karşılaştırdık. Olgular uygulanan ameliyat tekniğine göre 3 grup olarak incelendiler. Başlıca parametreler olarak; postoperatif erken dönem komp-likasyon, hastanede kalış süresi, hastaların normal aktivi-teye dönüş süresi ile geç dönemde nüks gelişimi değerlendirildi. Buna göre incelediğimiz parametreler açısından gruplar arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı fark olmadığını tesbit ettik. Sonuç olarak çalışmaya dahil ettiğimiz konvansiyonel yöntemlerin tümünün cerrahın tercihine göre belirlenip güvenle uygulanabileceği kanısına vardık.

Abstract

Comparison of Early and Late Results of Hernioraphies with Lichtenstein Mesh, Shouldice and Posterior Wall Darn Types Today there is not a consensus on the ideal tecnnique that will be used in repair of inguinal hernia. In this study we compared early and late postoperative results of Lichtenstein mesh, Shouldice and posterior wall darn type herni-oraphies applied to randomized cases in our clinic. Cases were evaluated in 3 groups according to the type of operative technique. Main parameters were postoperative early complications, duration of hospital stay, duration of returning to normal daily activities and relapses in late postoperative period. According to these parameters there was no statistically significant difference between groups. As a result, we concluded that any of these conventional methods used in this study can be chosen according to the surgeon's preference and all these methods are easy and safe to perform.
