Özet

Sakrokoksigeal pilonidal sinüs hastalığı gerek genç yaş grubunu tutarak uzun süreli iş gücü kaybına yol açması gerekse de herkesin kabul ettiği standart tedavi yöntemi olmaması nedeniyle morbiditesi yüksek bir hastalıktır. Bu çalışmada, servisimizde tedavi şekli olarak tercih ettiğimiz Limberg flep yöntemi diğer yöntemlerle karşılaştırıldı. Olgularımızın takip sonuçları ile nükslerin önüne geçebilmek için yapılması gerekenler üzerinde duruldu. Bu yöntemle tedavi ettiğimiz 65 olgu ortalama 4 yıl takip edildi. Serinin hem komplikasyon oranı hem de uzun dönemde nüks oranı % 4.62 olarak saptandı. Tedavide Limberg flep yönteminin seçkin tedavi şekli olduğuna karar verildi.

Abstract

Sacrococygeal pilonidal sinus disease is a disease attacking the young age group resulting in long term loss of productive power. It has also high rates of morbidity because there is not a standard type of treatment approved by all surgeons. In this study Limberg flap performed in our clinic is compared with other techniques. By the help of follow up of results of our cases, we pointed out essentials for preventing relapses. Sixtyfive cases treated by this technique were followed up for 4 years. The complication rate and long term relapse rate is both 4.62 %. We determined that Limberg type flap is the choice of treatment for sacrcoccigeal pilonidal sinus disease.
