Sözlü Tanıkların Dilinden Köy Enstitülerinde Okul Atmosferi

Özet

Bu araştırmada Türk Eğitim Sistemi içerisinde farklı bir okul modeli olan Köy Enstitülerinde "okul atmosferi" konusu incelenmiştir. Kısa ömürlerine rağmen 1940'lı yıllarda popüler olan bu kurumlar, bir çok tartışmalara neden olmuş ve hâlâ da tartışılmaktadır. Bu tartışma konularında biri de enstitülere özgü okul atmosferidir. Köy Enstitülerinde okul atmosferinin görünümleri geleneksel okullardan farklıdır. Bu farklılığın oluşumunda okulun örgütsel yapısı, okul çevresi, okulda izlenen " iş eğitimi" uygulamaları ve enstitü topluluğunun etkileri söz konusudur.

Abstract

In this study, the school atmosphere in the village institutes that have a different school model in the Turkish Education System is examined. Despite short life cycle of these institutions that was popular in 1940s, they caused many discussions and they are being discussed even toddy. One of the subjects discussed is the school atmosphere that is special to these institutions. The school atmosphere in village institutes is different from traditional schools. The organizational structure of the school, school environment, "work's education" applications in the school and institute community have roles on this difference.
