OSMAN ŞEMS EFENDİ'NİN ŞİİRLERİNDE DÎNÎ ve TASAVVUFÎ MUHTEVA

Özet

19. asır Türk şiirinin önemli bir şairi olan Osman Şems Efendi, şa- irliğinin yanı sıra yaşadığı dönemin önemli bir mutasavvıfıdır. O,gençliğinde Nakşîbendiyye ve ardından Halvetiyye tarikatlerindenbaşladığı seyr ü sülûkünü KÀdiriyyeden tamamlayarak bu tarika- tin Enveriyye kolunu tesis etmiştir. Yaklaşık 7000 beyit tutarındaolan şiirlerini tasavvufî düşüncelerini aktarmak amacıyla kalemealan Osman Şems Efendi için diğer konular ikinci derecede önem- lidir. Bu makalede Osman Şems Efendinin şiirlerinde dile getirdiğidinî ve tasavvufî dikkat çeken bazı hususlara değinilecek ve onlar- dan örnek beyitler sunulmak suretiyle şairin düşünce dünyası hak- kında bazı tespitlerde bulunulacaktır. Bunun yanında şairin kimliğive edebî şahsiyeti hakkında da bilgiler sunulacaktır.

Abstract

Osman Sems Efendi is one of the important poets in XIX. centuryTurkish poetry. Besides being a poet, he was one of the importantsufi (mystic) in that period. Osman Sems Efendi started his mysticpath (seyr u suluk) through joining to the Naqshbandiyya andKhalwati order while he was youth, then fulfilled it in the Qa- diriyya order and founded the branch of Enveriyye in this tariqa(sufi path).Osman Sems Efendi aimed to transfer his mystical thoughts through amounting to about 7000 couplets and accord- ing to him the other issues are of secondary importance. In thisarticle, it will be mentioned to Osman Sems Efendi s poems whichhe expresses his religious and mystical thoughts and some obser- vations will be tried to put forward about his ideas through givensome examples from his couplets.
