Öğrenmede motivasyon büyük önem taşır. Bireysel olarak gerçekleştirilen piyano eğitiminde öğrenme, sabır, uğraş ve çok çalışmayı gerektiren bir süreç sonunda gerçekleşir.Bu nedenle, piyano eğitiminde motivasyon daha çok önem kazanır. Piyano eğitimi, sınıf ortamındaki eğitimden çok farklıdır. Sınıf ortamında, öğrenciyi motive edebilen, arkadaşlık, rekabet, yardımlaşma gibi birçok dış etken önemli rol oynarken, öğretmen ve öğrencinin bire bir gerçekleştirdiği piyano eğitiminde bu etkenlerin rolü azdır.Bu noktada öğretmene büyük görev düşer.Piyano öğretmeni, motivasyonu etkileyen faktörler konusunda bilgi sahibi olmalı ve bu faktörler doğrultusunda öğrenciyi öğrenmeye motive etmelidir. Öğrenmeye motive edilen piyano öğrencisinin öğrenme düzeyi yükselir. Bu durum başarıyı da beraberinde getirir.Dolayısıyla öğrencinin başarısına ortak olan öğretmenin, öğrenci motivasyonundaki rolü oldukça büyüktür. Bu çalışmada, piyano eğitiminde motivasyonun önemi ve motivasyonda öğretmenin rolü üzerinde durulmuş,motivasyonu etkileyen önemli faktörler ve öğretmenin bu faktörlerden nasıl yararlanması gerektiği ele alınmıştır.

Abstract

Motivation has a great importance in learning.In individually carried out piano education, learning is achieved at the end of a period requiring effort, perseverance and lots of work. Thus, motivation gains greater importance in piano education. Piano education greatly differs from the education in the classroom environment. Whereas many motivating external factors such as friendship, competition and helping play a great role in the classroom environment, these factors have a less important effect in piano education carried out one on one by the teacher and the student. At this point, teacher will have a great task. Piano teacher must have information about the factors affecting the motivation and motivate the student accordingly. Learning level, of the motivated piano student increases, hence bringing about success. Therefore, the role of the teacher sharing the success of the student, is great. In this article, the importance of motivation in piano education and the role of the teacher in motivating is considered covering the important factors influencing the motivation and the ways how the theacher will use these factors.
