Hitit tanrılar top- luluğunda tanrı olarak karşımıza çıkan At tanrısı Pirwa Hititçe belgelerde (NA4)hekur yapısıyla birlikte geçmektedir. Bu çalışmada (NA4)hekur Pirwa kelime grubunun Hitit çiviyazılı metinlerde geçtiği yerler ele alınarak etimolojik değerlendirmelerin yanı sıra yapının işlevi, lokalizasyonu ve söz konusu kelime grubu için yeni bir yorumda bulunulacaktır.

Abstract

Frequently mentioned in Hittite cuneiform texts (NA4)hekur appears in some cases as a place used for the temple of the dead, and in some cases as a sacred building dedicated to the gods. Having an important place in the life of ancient societies, the horse appears as Pirwa, the horse god in the kingdom of the Hit- tite gods. In this study, a new interpretation will be made on the function of the structure, its localization and the word group in question, as well as etymological evaluations by considering the places where the word group of (NA4)hekur Pirwa is used in Hittite cuneiform texts.
