Ameliyat sonrası her ay takip programları planlandı.
Abstract
Background and Aim: Allografts and alloplasts are graftmaterials with satisfactory clinical outcomes that can beobtained in sufficient quantities. This report aims to determineand compare the contribution of alloplast and allograftmaterials applied to the atrophic mandibular crest with thetunnel technique.Materials and Methods: 14 patients with unilateralmandibular posterior atrophic crests were included, randomlydivided into two groups. Computed tomographic images weretaken preoperatively from patients with stents. Horizontaland vertical bone were determined preoperatively. Duringsurgeries, the mucoperiosteal flap was elevated using the“tunnel technique,” then both graft materials were placed intothe flaps. Follow-up programs were scheduled at each monthafter surgeries. Computed tomographic images were taken forpostoperative measurements with acrylic stents at the end ofthe fourth month. Results: Postsurgical healing was uneventful for each group. There was a statistically significant increase in crest height andwidth in both groups (p=0.005, p=0.016, p=0.011, p=0.001;p
