Araştırma görevlilerinin %50.5'i bulundukları bölümlerdeki lisans eğitiminde almış oldukları anatomi dersini yararlı, % 24.1'i çok yararlı, %17.9'u yararsız olarak değerlendirirken, % 7.5'i ise kararsız olduğunu belirtmiştir. Araştırma görevlilerinin %51.9'u lisans eğitiminde verilen anatomi derslerinin içeriğini yeterli bulurken, % 31.1'i artırılması gerektiğini, % 14.2'si azaltılmasını, % 2.4'ü ise, anatomi dersinin gerekli bir ders olmadığını belirtmişlerdir. Araştırma görevlilerinin görüşlerini içeren bu çalışma, eğitime yardımcı olabileceği inancıyla sunulmuştur.

Abstract

Objective: The topic of how anatomy and anatomy training should be has been discussed with studies and feedbacks in recent years. In this study, the viewpoints of 212 research assistants on anatomy training were evaluated, and their comments on how the anatomy training should be during specialization periods and in study years at universities were collected with questionnaires. The questionnaires were made with the research assistants working in basic and clinical units of Erciyes University, Faculty of Medicine. A total of 212 research assistants were included in the study. The research assistants answered to a questionnaire that included 13 questions 4 of which were open-ended. 50.5% of the research assistants found the anatomy training they received in their undergraduate study departments as helpful, 24.1% found it a very helpful, and 17.9% found it as not helpful; and 7.5% stated that they were indecisive. 51.9% of the research assistants found the contents of the anatomy classes provided to them during undergraduate education as adequate, 14.2% stated that the number of these classes should be decreased, and 2.4% stated that anatomy classes were not necessary. This study, which includes the viewpoints of research assistants, is presented with the belief that it would be helpful to education.
