Pregnant women who had complicatins such as diabetes mellitus and hypertension and pregnant women under 37 weeks of gestatin were excluded from the study. Statitial analysis was performed using the Statitial Package for Social Sciences (SPSS Inc; Chicago, IL, USA) version 20.0 softare. Results: The mean age of the patints included in the study was 28.24 ± 5.74, their average BMI was 30.49 ± 4.85 and the mean gestatinal week according to the last menstrual period was 38.39 ± 2.22. A statitially signifiant diffrence was found between obese and non-obese groups in terms of the macrosomic fetus, twin pregnancy and cesarean rates (p = 0.007, p = 0.041, p = 0.046, respectiely).
