Abstract
In this study, the flora of Kıbrıs River Wildlife Development Area (Kaş/ Antalya) was investigated. 1500 plantsamples were collected between June 2015 and September 2017. As a result of the study, 276 genera and 515 species(538 taxa) belonging to 73 families were identified. Four of the 538 taxa belong to the Pteridophyta and the remaining534 belong to the Magnoliophyta. The Pinophytina (Gymnosperms) subdivision which belongs to the divisionMagnoliophyta contains 5 taxa while the Magnoliophytina (Angiosperms) subdivision contains 527 taxa. 466 taxa fromthe Magnoliophytina subdivision belong to the Dicotyledons and 63 taxa to the Monocots. Families that contain the mosttaxa, in decreasing order, are Fabaceae (68), Asteraceae (57), Lamiaceae (45). Genera that contain the most taxa, indecreasing order, are Silene L. (12), Alyssum L. (9), Hypericum L. The number of endemic taxa in this study is 59(10.98%).
