Özet
Bu araştırmanın amacı farklı kurutma sürelerinin zufa/çördük otu (Hyssopus officinalis L.) bitkisinin verim ve uçucu yağ oranı üzerine etkisinin belirlenmesidir. Hasat edilen taze bitki örnekleri farklı sürelerle (taze herba, 24, 48 ve 72 saat) kurutma fırınında 35°C kurutulmuştur. Daha sonra, bitki örneklerinin uçucu yağ oranları Clevenger tipi cihaz kullanılarak su distilasyonu yöntemiyle belirlenmiştir. Yürütülen çalışmada, ortalama herba verimi (kg da-1 ), yaprak + çiçek verimi (kg da-1 ), uçucu yağ oranı (%) ve uçucu yağ verimi (L da-1 ) değerleri sırasıyla 1209.81 kg da-1 , 487.06 kg da-1 , % 0.50 ve 2.17 L da-1 olarak tespit edilmiştir. Sonuçlar; zufa bitkisinde farklı kurutma sürelerinin verim ve uçucu yağ oranı üzerinde etkili olduğunu göstermiştir.
Abstract
The aim of this research was to determine the effect of different drying times on the yield and essential oilcontent of hyssop (Hyssopus officinalis L.). The harvested fresh plant samples were dried at 35°C in the drying oven atdifferent times (fresh herb, 24, 48 and 72 hours). Then, the essential oil content of the plant samples were determined bywater distillation using the Clevenger type apparatus. In the experiment carried out, the mean values of herb yield (kgda-1), leaf + flowers yield (kg da-1), essential oil ratio (%), essential oil yield were determined as 1209.81 kg da-1, 487.06kg da-1, 0.50% and 2.17 L da-1, respectively. Results showed that different drying times were effective on yield andessential oil content of hyssop.
