Özet

Hz.

Abstract

Hz. Mohammad (H.H.) has consulted with His Companions several times during his life and cared about their ideas and thoughts. He exchanged ideas with those around him when the revelations were not satisfactory, and he often accepted their recommendations. While Allah educated His Prophet, he also trained his companions and ensured the establishment of this council in Islamic society as a principle. His consultations with the Companions were in several forms. Sometimes he consulted a single companion, sometimes he obtained the views of a community, and sometimes he prioritized the views of all his companions. Although the submission of the Companions to the Messenger of Allah was absolute, in certain cases, they wereable to object him and criticize his decisions. Since several studies were conducted on the concept and scope of consultation, we did not go into a conceptual analysis in the present study, instead, we scrutinized the topic of the benefits of consultation in the example of Hz. Mohammad based on particularly Islamic history resources. Also, the objections of the Companions to the Prophet were also among the main themes of the present study.
