İhtiyaç, Yeterlik ve Mesleki Doyum Bağlamında Rehber Öğretmenlerin Görev Algıları

Özet
Bu çalışmanın amacı okullarda çalışan rehber öğretmenlerin MEB Rehberlik ve Psikolojik Danışma (RPD) Hizmetleri Yönetmeliği'nde belirtilen görevlere ilişkin görüşlerini belirlemektir. Çalışma grubu kartopu örnekleme ve ulaşılabilir örnekleme yöntemi kullanılarak oluşturulmuş, çalışmaya 235 rehber öğretmen katılmıştır. RPD Hizmetleri Yönetmeliği'nde yer alan görevler sıralanmış ve beşli likert olarak puanlanmıştır Okul rehber öğretmenlerinin okullarında en çok ihtiyaç duyulduğunu düşündükleri görevler; komisyonlara ve toplantılara katılmak, bilgi vermek, görüş belirtmek, bireysel rehberlik hizmetleri ile bireyi tanıma etkinliklerini yürütmek olarak sıralanmıştır. Okul rehber öğretmenlerinin yerine getirirken kendilerini yeterli olarak algıladıkları görevler; ders yılı sonunda bir rapor hazırlamak, komisyon ve toplantılara katılarak bilgi vermek, görüş belirtmek ile sınıf öğretmenlerine rehberlik etmek şeklinde sıralanmıştır. Okul rehber öğretmenlerinin yerine getirirken en çok mesleki doyum elde ettikleri görevler; psikolojik danışma yapmak, bireysel rehberlik hizmetlerini ve bireyi tanıma etkinliklerini yürütmek, ailelere ve okul personeline yönelik konferans vb etkinlikler düzenlemek ve sınıflarda yürütülen eğitsel ve meslekî rehberlik etkinliklerinden, uygulanması RPD alanında özel bilgi ve beceri gerektirenleri uygulamak olarak sıralanmıştır.
Abstract
The aim of this study is to examine the school counselors' opinions about the duties defined in the Guidance and Psychological Counseling (GPC) Services Regulation. The study group was consisted of 235 school counselors by using snowball sampling and convenience sampling method. As data collection instrument the duties in the GPC Services Regulation which are listed in a five-point Likert scale and personal information form were used. Results revealed that for school counselor the most needed duties in schools are; to participate in commissions and meetings, to give information and express opinions, to conduct individual counseling and recognition activities. The duties which school counselors perceive themselves competent are making assessment, giving information, participating in commissions and meetings, expressing their opinions, and guiding teachers. The duties which provide the most satisfaction are: to carry out individual counseling and recognition activities, to provide guidance to the families, and staff, organizing conferences and applying activities which requires special knowledge and skill in the field.
