Abstract

In viticulture, the existence of American grape–vine rootstocks could be considered a big break. However, this kind of seedlings provide just little yield–which does not attract seedling producers to use them more. This very study was conducted in 2015 and 2016. 110R rootstock and Narince were chosen and used as the vegetal materials. Before the inoculation, both rootstocks were kept at room temperature for 2 and 8 days respectively. The inoculated materials were dibbled into the counters with and without underfloor heating. During the study, the level of callus development (0 to 4 scale), the shoot length (cm), wet and dry weight of the roots (g) and the yield of the seedlings (%) were recorded. The study was arranged in a randomized complete–block design and was subjected to variance analysis. As a result of the study, the characteristics observed in the 2–year period were found statistically more important than all the other applications. The yield rates of the inoculated and non–inoculated seedlings were respectively 66.5% and 71.1% in 2015 and 65.3% and 71.5% in 2016. The yield rates of the pre–incubated and non–preincubated seedlings were respectively 70.7% and 67% in 2015 and 71.6% and 65.2% in 2016. The yield rates of the pre–incubated and non–preincubated seedlings were respectively 70.7% and 67% in 2015 and 71.6% and 65.2% in 2016. The yield rates of the seedlings with and without underfloor heating were respectively 73.5% and 64.1% in 2015 and 71.5% and 65.3% in 2016. No interaction that could affect the yield of the seedlings was observed. Pre–incubation and underfloor heating methods can be successfully used in the production of inoculated grape seedlings to increase their yield.
