1993-1996 yılları arasında kliniğimizde tedavi gören 107 primer spontan pnömotoraks olgusu retrospektif olarak incelendi. Hastaların^ 88'i erkek 19'u bayan olup yaş ortalaması 34 idi. Olguların 64'ü sağ 43'ü sol akciğerde lokalizeydi. En sık görülen semptomlar öksürük (%86) ve dispne (%48) idi. Minimal pnömotorakslı 9 vakada gözlemle yetinildi. 98 vakada göğüs tüpü uygulandı. Kapalı su altı drenajı ile tedavi edilemeyen 11 vakaya torakotomi uygulandı. Vakaların 18'inde (%16.7) nüks gözlendi. Mortalite görülmedi.
Abstract
One hundred and seven cases (88 males; meaneg 34) with spontaneous pneumothorax, hospitalized between 1993 and 1996, were reviewed retrospectively. Of the case's, 64 were localized on the right lung and 43 on the left. The common symptoms included caugh (86 %) and dyspne (48 %). Nine cases with pneumothorax were only observed; remaining 98 cases were applied chest tube. Thoracotomy was applied to 11 cases who could not be treated with thoracostomy. In 18 cases (16.7 %), recurrence was detected. No mortality was seen.
