Vedat Günyol'un Denemelerine Tematik Bir Yaklaşım

Özet

Bu çalışma, deneme türünü tanıtmaya ve ülkemizin önemli deneme yazarlarından biri olan Vedat Günyol'un denemelerini tahlile yöneliktir. Çalışmanın giriş kısmında, deneme türü tanıtılıyorken belki de bir deneme kaleme alma çabasının ürünü bilgiler söz konusudur. Türün ilke ve çerçevesinin çizilmeye çalışıldığı bu bölümde, denemenin Dünya ve Türk edebiyatındaki tarihsel süreci de takip edilmiştir. Bölüm, Vedat Günyol'un denemeciliğini besleyen ilgi alanlarının ve yaşam hikâyesinin özü ile sona ermektedir. Ana metinde ise Vedat Günyol'un deneme türü ile ilgili kuramsal düşünceleri verildikten sonra, denemelerin yapısal ve içeriksel çözümlemelerine geçilmiştir. Çok sayıda deneme kitabı yayımlamış olan Günyol'un denemeleri, işlenen ana mevzular etrafında kümelenerek tahlile tabiî tutulmuştur. Bu nedenle Günyol'un denemeleri; Meslekî, Klasik, Güncel, Nekrolojik, Kent ve Portre denemeler başlıkları ile ele alınmıştır. Tahliller sonucunda, Günyol'un dünya ve insan gerçeğini kavrayabilmiş olmasının, deneme türü ile ilgilenen okurun hayatında yeni pencereler açacağı kanısına varılmıştır

Abstract

This study seeks to introduce essay genre and to analyze the essays of Vedat Günyol, who is one of the most important essayist in Turkey. The introduction section of the study presents the essay genre while it contains information as to efforts to write an essay. This section outlines the principles and the frame of the genre, and it is followed by the historical period of essay in the World and Turkish literature. This section ends with the Vedat Günyol's special interests feeding his essayism as well as the core of his life story. The main text informs about Vedat Günyol's theoretical views on the essay genre, and structural as well as content analyses of his essays. Having published many essay books, Günyol's essays were analyzed in accordance with the main issues that are dealt with in his works. Hence, Günyol's essays were addressed under the titles of Professional, Classical, Contemporary, Nechrological, and Urban and the Portray. At the end of the analyses, it was seen that Günyol's comprehension of the world and human realities may open new horizons for the readers who are interested in essays
