Orhan Kemal, Türk Edebiyatının, hayat karşısında yeterli bilgisi ve görüsü olmayan bireyinin, yaşama tutunabilme öyküsünü gerçekçi bir bakış açısı ile anlatan bir sanatkârıdır. "Bir Çocuk" öyküsü, 1968 yılında yayımlanan Önce Ekmek isimli kitapta bulunur. 1969 yılı Sait Faik Hikâye Armağanı ve Türk Dil Kurumu Ödülünü alan Önce Ekmekʹte on yedi öykü yer alır. Zamandan ve mekândan bağımsız yapıtları ile Türk edebiyatının ölümsüz ismi Orhan Kemal, anlatıyı leitmotifler ve güçlü betimlemeler ile donatır. Yazar, yaşam mücadelesi veren, hayatta kalmak için çalışan ve emek harcayan insanın edebiyatımızdaki sözcüsüdür.

Abstract

Orhan Kemal is an artist who tells the Turkish Literature story of the individual who does not have enough knowledge and vision in the face of life with a realistic perspective. The story of "Bir Çocuk" is found in the book Önce Ekmek published in 1968. Önce Ekmek, which received the Sait Faik Hikâye Ödülü and the Türk Dil Kurumu Ödülü in 1969, includes seventeen stories. Orhan Kemal, the immortal name of Turkish literature with his works independent of time and space, equips the narrative with leitmotives and powerful descriptions. The writer is the spokesperson in our literature of the people who struggle for life, work for survival and spend effort."Bir Çocuk" expresses his inadequacy. The name of the work is marked with a certain age range and independent of the person. People of all ages are considered children on certain issues. With a word, the person who looks vulnerable alone draws an anonymous image, in this context his scope increases and the scope of the study expands.
