İŞÇİLERİN GÖZÜNDEN BİR DİRENİŞ HİKÂYESİ: 2015 METAL DİRENİŞİ

Özet
2015 Nisan, Mayıs kısmen Haziran aylarında metal/otomotiv sektöründe büyük bir işçi eylemi yaşanmıştır. Eylem Bursa Oyak Renault Fabrikası'nda başlamış önce Tofaş ve yan sanayiye, daha sonra Kocaeli, Sakarya, Ankara, Eskişehir gibi illerdeki otomotiv, traktör fabrikalarına ve beyaz eşya sanayine yayılmıştır. Metal eyleminin ardından cam, gıda, petrol/plastik gibi bazı sektörlerde işçi eylemleri gündeme gelmiştir. Eyleme katılan işçi sayısı tam olarak belirlenememekle birlikte 15.000'nin üzerinde işçinin eyleme katıldığı farklı kaynaklarda belirtilmektedir. Eylem basında ve işçiler arasında "Metal Direnişi" olarak adlandırılmış, bu nedenle çalışmada "eylem" kelimesi ile "direniş" kelimesi aynı anlama gelmek üzere birlikte kullanılmıştır. Direniş; nedenleri, uygulanışı ve sonuçları bakımından diğer işçi eylemlerinden farklılık göstermiştir. Direniş; işçileri, sendikaları ve işverenleri olduğu kadar Türk Endüstri ilişkileri sistemini de derinden etkilemiştir. Bu çalışma direnişin öznesi olan işçiler üzerinden metal direnişini incelemeyi amaçlamakta, direnişe katılan işçilerin gözü ile direnişi ele almaktadır. Çalışmada önce metal/otomotiv sektöründeki endüstri ilişkileri ile genel olarak direnişin nedenleri, süreç ve sonuçları üzerinde kısaca durulmakta, daha sonra Bursa'da direnişe katılan 14 işçi ile yapılan derinlemesine görüşme yöntemi ile elde edilen bulgulara yer verilmektedir.
Abstract
It was a major worker protests in the metal/automotive sector in April, May and partly June, 2015. Protests had begun in the Oyak Renault factory in Bursa just after that it firstly spread to Tofaş and sub-industry. Then automotive, tractor factories and white goods industry in Kocaeli, Sakarya, Ankara and Eskişehir affected from this movement. It was reported by different sources that over 15,000 of workers attended the protests but the number of workers who attended the protests not known exactly. These protests called "Metal Resistance" in the press and between workers that so in this study expression of "resistance" and "protest" are used with the same meaning. Metal Resistance was different from other worker protests in terms of causes, implementation methods and results. Metal Resistance has deeply affected the Turkish industrial relations system as well as workers, trade unions and employers. This study aims to examine the Metal Resistance with regards to workers who have been the subject of this resistance. It tackles the resistance from the point of workers' view who attended it. This study is briefly focused on the industrial relation in the metal/automotive sector in general. Additionally the causes, process and results of resistance is examined in the study. Accordingly, it is given to the findings obtained through in-depth interviews with 14 workers who attended the protests in Bursa.
