Özet
Bu çalışmanın amacı, Hemşirelik Lisans programında yer alan Çocuk Sağlığı ve Hastalıkları Hemşireliği Dersinin uygulamalı öğretimi süresince öğrencilere sağlanan deneyimlerin çocuk hemşireliğinin çağdaş rol ve işlevleri ile uygunluğunu değerlendirmektir. Bu tanımlayıcı ve niteliksel çalışmada veriler, 2001-2002 öğretim yılında Çocuk Sağlığı ve Hastalıkları Hemşireliği dersinde (1) öğrencilerin uyguladıkları Bakım Planlarından ve (2) Ders Sonu Değerlendirme Formlarından elde edilmiştir. Veriler (1)NANDA Kuzey Amerika Hemşirelik Tanıları Birliği ve NIC-Hemşirelik Girişimleri Sınıflamaları, (2) Çocuk hemşireliğinin çağdaş rol ve işlevleri çerçeve alınarak değerlendirilmiştir. Elde edilen bulgularla, Çocuk Sağlığı ve Hemşireliği Dersi uygulamaları süresince, öğrencilere sağlanan deneyimlerin çocuk hemşireliğinin çağdaş rol ve işlevleri ile uyumlu olduğu sonucuna varılmıştır.
Abstract
The aim of this study is to evaluate if the experiences provided to the students during the Child Health and Diseases Nursing course in the Nursing Undergraduate Programme is appropriate to the contemporary roles and functions of pediatric nursing. The data of this descriptive and qualitative study were received from 1) Nursing care plans, which the students applied during the clinical practices, 2) course evaluation forms given in the end of 2001-2002 teaching years of Child Health and Diseases Nursing course. The data were evaluated within the frame of 1) NANDA-North American Nursing Diagnosis and NIC- Nursing Interventions Classification 2) Contemporary roles and functions of pediatric nursing. It is concluded that the experiences provided for practices of Child Health and Diseases Nursing course were corre-sponding with the contemporary the roles and functions of child nursing.
