Özet

Bu çalışma hemodiyaliz hastalarının algıladıkları sosyal destek ile umutsuzlukları arasındaki ilişkiyi belirlemek amacıyla yürütülmüştür. Veriler sosyodemograflk özellikleri belirleyen bir anket, "Çok Boyutlu Algılanan Sosyal Destek Ölçeği" (MSPSS), "Beck Umutsuzluk Ölçeği" (BUÖ) ile 136 hastadan elde edilmiştir. Verilerin değerlendirilmesinde yüzdelik, Kruskall Wallis (KW), Mann Whitney U (MWU), t- testi ve korelasyon analizi kullanılmıştır. Hastaların aileden algıladıkları sosyal destek puan ortalamaları 23.3±.4.8, arkadaşlardan 15.5±6.9, hemşirelerden 22±8.1, toplam destek puan ortalaması 59.3±8, umutsuzluk puan ortalaması ise 8.8±5.1 olarak bulunmuştur. Abstract

This study was conducted with the purpose of determining the relationship between social support perceived and hopelessness in hemodialysis patients.The data were collected using a questionnaire determining the sociodemographic features and ' 'Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support' '(MSPSS), ' 'Beck Hopelessness Scale" (BUÖ) to have been addressed 136 patients. In the statistical evaluating of the data were used percentage, Kruskall Wallis, Mann Whitney U, t- test and correlation analysis. The mean scores of the perceived social support from their families, friends and nurses were 23.3 ±4.8, 15.5 ±6.9 and 22±8.1 respectively. The mean score of total social support was 59.3±8 their mean hopelessness score was 8.8±5.1.
