Özet
Erzincan Altıntepe Kalesi ilk kez 1959-1968 yılları arasında Prof. Dr.Tahsin Özgüç tarafından kazılmıştır. Bu kazılarda çıkarılan Urartu Dönemine aitmimari kalıntılar ve küçük eserler Anadolu arkeolojisine önemli katkılar sağlamışve temsil ettiği kültürün tek örnekleri olarak değerlendirilmiştir. 2003 yılındanitibaren Atatürk Üniversitesi ve Kültür ve Turizm Bakanlığı adına Prof. Dr.Mehmet Karaosmanoğlu başkanlığındaki bir ekip tarafından kazılar devametmektedir. İlk Dönem kazılarının ardından korumasız kalan kaledeki tahribat veortaya çıkarılan bazı mimari yapıların tarihlendirmesindeki sorunlar bilimdünyasının dikkatini çekmiştir. Devam eden ikinci dönem kazı ve onarımçalışmalarıyla önemli sonuçlara ulaşılmıştır.Bu makale 2012 yılında gerçekleştirilen kazı ve onarım çalışmalarınınsonuçları konusunda bilgiler verecektir.Anahtar Kelimeler: Altıntepe, Urartu, Erzincan, Urartu Mimarisi, BizansKilisesi
Abstract
Erzincan Altıntepe Castle has been excavated for the first time by Prof.Tahsin Özgüç between 1959 and 1968. Architectural findings belonging to the Urartian Period and small findings which were taken out during those excavationsprovided important contributions to the Anatolian archaeology and they wereconsidered the unique samples of the culture they represented. The excavationsof Second term has been continued by a team under the chairmanship of Prof. Dr.Mehmet Karaosmanoğlu on behalf Atatürk University and Culture and TourismMinistry since 2003.
