Life and Rich Heritage Aynalkuzat Miyanedji

Abstract

The famous thinker of Azerbaijan Aynalkuzat Miyanedji (1099- 1131) is one of the prominent personalities who made a great contribution to the cultural development of the medieval Muslim East. In the sources, the thinker is considered the greatest philosopher, poet and writer of the 12th century. His work was more studied in terms of the philosophical aspect. Expressive features, the language of his works allow to explore them from the point of view of literature. Father and grandfather of Aynalkuzat Miyanedji were famous figures of the era. In general, information about the family and life of the thinker in the sources are very little and similar to each other. However, medieval writers have always written a lot about them. The article provides information about the work of Aynalkuzat Miyanedji, whose artistic features have been described more widely. This outstanding person who was killed because of his life credo was the founder of pantheism and influenced other philosophers of the next century, including Imadaddin Nasimi (1369-1417). Here, as the main source, the scientist referred to his work “The complaint of Garib”. Friendship ideas were compared with the works of Shihab al-Din Yahya al-Suhrawardi (1154-1191). One of the topics of interest of Aynalkuzat Miyanedji is of religious tradition. The thinker compared his life position with the story of Joseph. The author did not show three questions raised on the basis of the charges directed against him, but the weakness of ignorant people in the face of skilled people. As a result, we note that the work of Aynalkuzat Miyanedji is the precious wealth of the scientific and literary environment of the 12th century. He has an honorable place in the history of Azerbaijani culture.
