Veriler CIE L*a*b* sistemine göre kaydedilerek renk farklılıkları (ΔE*) hesaplandı. Renk değişimlerinin istatistiksel analizi çift yönlü varyans analizi (Two-way ANOVA) ile yapılırken ortalamaların çoklu karşılaştırılması için Tukey HSD testi (α=.05) kullanıldı. Bulgular: Test edilen 6 farklı kompozit rezin için en düşük ΔE* değerleri su içerisinde bekletilen gruplarda tespit edilmiştir (p

Abstract

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the color stability of different composite resins upon exposure to different drinks which were highly consumed in daily life. Materials and methods: Twenty-five disc-shaped (15×2 mm) cylindrical specimens were prepared for each of 6 different composite resins (Filtek Silorane, Aelite Aesthetic Enamel, Quixfill, Ceram X Mono, Grandio, IntenS). The specimens of each composite resin groups were divided into 5 subgroups (n=5) for storage for 48 hours at 37°C in different types of solutions: water, coffee, tea, cola, and red wine. The color values of all groups were measured before and after exposure to different solutions with a colorimeter (Minolta CR-300). Data were recorded according to the CIE L*a*b* system and then color changes (ΔE*) were calculated. The statistical analysis of the color variation data included a 2- way analysis of variance (ANOVA) and the means were compared by Tukey HSD test (α=.05). Results: For the 6 restorative materials tested, the lowest ΔE* values were observed in the water immersed group (p
