Rauf R. Denktaş'ın Kıbrısta Bitmeyen Mücadelesi

Özet

Rauf Denktaş, Kıbrıs'ın var olma, eşit hakların savunulması ve sonuçta bağımsızlık mücadelesi sürecinde 1940 yılarından itibaren etkin bir şekilde yerini almıştır. Londra'daki hukuk tahsiline müteakip Kıbrıs'ta, Anayasa Komisyonu, Türk Işleri Komisyonu, Kıbrıs Türk Kurumları Federasyonu Başkanlığı, TMT (Türk Mukavemet Teşkilatı)'nin kurulması, Türk Cemaat Meclisi Başkanlığı, Cumhurbaşkanlığı Muavinligi ve Devlet Başkanlığı, KKTC (Kuzey Kıbrıs Türk Cumhuriyeti) Cumhurbaşkanlığı gibi görevleri ve faaliyetleri onun mücadelesinin evreleridir. Onun mücadelesinde ana unsur olarak görülen esaslar; Kıbrıs 'taki Yunan milliyetciligi ve Türkiye'nin etkisi, Türkiye'ye davayı sahiplendirme mücadelesi olarak sıralanabilir. Abstract

Rauf Denktaş has undertaken the defense of the right of equality, the existence of Cyprus ever since 1940, and finally taken his stance in the struggle for independence. After his completion of his education in law, in London, the phases of his enduring struggle in Cyprus consist Constitution Commission, Turkish Affairs Commission, Chairmanship of the Cypriot Turkish, Foundations Federation, Foundation of TMT (Turkish Endurance Organization), Chairmanship of the Turkish People's Assembly, Assistantship at the Office of Presidency and Head of State, are all the phases of the struggle prior to his term as the President. The main elements of his struggle can be listed as: Greek Nationalism in Cyprus (enosis) and its impacts on Turkiye, and struggling to get Turkiye as the protector of the process. Rauf Denktaş has never evaded from using the terms he has given priority above all, like: political equality, sharing of sovereignty, Turkiye's guarantorship, and the theme that the Turkish Cypriots is not an ethnic population. Rauf Denktaş, proudly and honorably, has recently handed TRNC (Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus) over to his successor with a thorough understanding of the issue, flag, independence, and sovereignty of the last Turkish State to be established. He has amalgamated himself with the Turkish people in order to resume his struggle on the Cyprus issue in unison. Hie will recommence his struggle from the point where he had left, together with his people and with the power he has been given by his people. Denktas's struggle of Cyprus will never end.
