Özet

Akut aşil tendon yırtığı olan iki hasta Lindholm yöntemiyle ameliyat edildikten sonra, iki farklı rehabilitasyon yöntemi uygulandı. Agresif fonksiyonel rehabilitasyon uygulanan hastada kas gücü kaybı daha düşük bulunmuştur.

Abstract

AGRESSIVE FUNCTIONAL REHABILITATION AFTER SURGICAL TREATMENT OF ACUTE RUPTURE OF THE ACHILLES TENDON Purpose: The effectiveness of two different rehabilitation applications after surgery. Patients and Method: Two patients were treated surgically with Lindholm technique. Postoperatively, one of them had conventional treatment, and the other one had agressive functional rehabilitation without cast immobilizatilon. Results: Patilent B had less deficite than patient A in the flexor and extensor muscles of the ankle and knee joints. Discussion: Long term immobilization causes adhesions between tendons and surrounding soft tissues, and weakness of the muscles. Conclusion: Agressive functional rehabilitation eliminates possible complications due to long term immobilization.
