Özet

III.

Abstract

As a result of the migrations took place at the end of the Bronze Age, inscription of the eighth of Ramesses III mentions the destruction of the Arzawa, Hittite, Kode and Kargamis states, In addition it ascribes the table of this destruction to the Sea Peoples. In Western Anatolia Egyptians mentioned as an Arzawa, are traces of destruction. On the other hand, there are important findings proving the existence of people the use LH IIIC pottery in the region. Settlements in Western Anatolia, such as Panaztepe, Liman Tepe, Bademgedi¤i Tepe, KadKalesi, Miletos, Kolophon findings must be related migrations. Findings such as LH IIIC pottery, cylindricalspool weights, hearth, bathtub indicate a close affinity with Cyprus and Philistine regions. Pelasgians whose native lands are stated as Larisa by Homer, should be Peleset who emigrate from Panaztepe and surrounding area to Egypt. Central Anatolia which is described as the heart of the Hittite Country, there is no evidence that points to the Sea Peoples, unlike the traces of destruction. In Kargamis, unlike the inscription of Ramesses III, trail of destruction hasn t been found. In Cilicia as Egyptians mentioned Kode, by trail of destruction as well as LH IIIC pottery, the presence of the Sea Peoples is clear.
