Özet

Ovidiusun Metamorphoses başlıklı eserini temel alarak tanrı ya da doğa nın adaletini göstermeyi planladı- ğımız çalışmamızda esas çıkış noktamızı bu eserin özellikle dünyanın yaradılışı, insanın ahlaki çöküşünün bir tufanla cezalandırılması ve ikinci yaradılışa ayrılan bölümü oluşturmaktadır. Ovidiusun eserinin yaradılışa ayrılan bölümü Tanrıyı akıl ve / veya doğayla özdeşleştiren Stoacı görüşlerin izlerini taşımaktadır. Tanrı, doğa ve adalet kavrayışını Ovidiusun görkemli şiirinin dizelerinde incelediğimiz bu çalışmamızda, insanın ahlaki çöküşüne ve doğa düzenini bozma yolundaki ilerleyişine doğanın kendi sürekliliğini koruması adına son verdikten sonra kötülüklerden arınmış bir düzen içinde kendini yenileyişi gösterilmiştir.

Abstract

In this analysis of Ovid s Metamorphoses our purpose is to discuss the justice of God or Nature with special emphasis on those parts that dwell on the creation of the world, the punishment of man s moral destruction by flood and second creation. The part alloted to the creation in Ovid s work reflects the Stoic view that equates god with reason and / or nature. Our analysis, which traces the concept of god, nature and justice in the magnificent verses of Ovid, reveals how nature protects and maintains herself by putting an end to man s moral decay and his progress that destroys the order of nature and how she renews herself for the establishment of a new order without evil and wickedness.
