Özet
Mardin Müzesi’nde Hellenistik Dönem’e ait iki adet kalıp yapımı kase bulunmaktadır. Kaselerden biri Ionia Kaseleri özellikleri taşımaktadır. Bu kasenin gövde bezemesini akantus ve eğrelti otu dalları oluştur. Kasenin belirleyici özelliği 11 yapraklı madalyon rozeti bezemesidir. Alışılmışın dışında bir özellik olarak kabul edilen 11 yapraklı rozet, Ionia Rapace atölyesinin özelliklerindendir. Bu rozeti kullanan başka atölyeler de vardır. Diğer kase tomurcuk bezemeli bordüre sahiptir. Bu bordür beze-mesi Bergama kazılarında ele geçen kase parçalarında sıkça görülmektedir. Ayrıca gövde üzerinde yunus, tavşan, İsis Tacı, palmiye motifleri, madalyonda ise aslan figürü yer almaktadır. Kaseler İ.Ö. 2. yüzyılın 2. yarısına ait olmalıdır.
Abstract
In Mardin Museum, there are two moldmade bowls belonging to the Hellenistic Period. One of the bowls is carrying the characteristics of Ionian Bowls. The acanthus and fern branches form the body decoration of this bowl. The decisive feature of the bowl is the decoration of medallion rosette with eleven-petaled. The eleven-petaled rosette, which is considered as extraordinary, has the feature of workshop of Ionian Rapace. There are other workshops that use this rosette. The other bowl has a bordure with decoration of bud. This kind of bordure decoration is seen widely on the pieces of bowl found in Pergamon excavations. Besides, there are dolphin, rabbit, Isis Crown and palm tree motifs on the body. As to medallion, there is a lion figure. Bowls could be dated to the second half of the 2nd century BC.
