Abstract
Minoan Culture, named after Minos, the king of Crete in the Ancient Greek Tradition, is generally described by a palace-centered administrative structure. The Minoan palaces, which are the admin-istrative center of the products produced in chora, also reflect religious world of the Minoans with their religious symbols and different religious spaces. The Minoans who seem to be a society that has abundantly adopted the Aegean Sea and its natural environment, it is possible that we can observe their harmony with nature and their integration into the Aegean geography through their frescoes and pottery. The universalization of the Labyrinth myth in the ancient world and the subsequent the repetition of this narrative in different branches of art in Mediterranean cultures reflects the impor-tance of the mythical past as much as the archaeological heritage of the Minoan culture in Crete. The influences of the Minoans prior to the Mycenaean culture, followed by their mythical past in Ancient Greek, Roman and European art. The most important sign of the influence of the recent past of the Minoan culture is Bahaettin Rahmi Bediz’s house, built at the beginning of the 20th Century, almost copied from a Minos villa.
