Özet

Parion, Antik Troas'ın en önemli kentlerinden biridir. Çanakkale İli, Biga İlçesi, Kemer Köyü sınırlarında bulunmaktadır. Kentte kazı çalışmaları 2004 yılında nekropolde başlamıştır. Kemer Köyünün içinde, günümüz mezarlık alanına bitişik bulunan nekropolis, şans eseri tespit edilebilmiştir. Kemer Köyüne yeni ilköğretim okulu yapılması için bu alan seçilmiş, temel kazıları sırasında burada tarihi eserler çıkmaya başlayınca çalışma durdurulmuştur. Çalışmamızda nekropolden M 143 mezarı ve buluntuları incelenmiştir. Mezarda 7 adet unguentarium, 2 adet testi, 1 kandil ve 1'de bronz patera ele geçmiştir. Bu araştırma ile aynı mezardan ele geçen farklı buluntu tipleri, az sayıda üretilen bazı kaplar tanıtılmış ve MS 1. yüzyıl sonları ile MS 2. yüzyıla tarihlenmişlerdir

Abstract

Parion is one of the most important cities in Ancient Troad and it is in the territory of modern village of Kemer of Çanakkale-Biga. The excavation began in 2004 at the necropolis. The Necropolis is located on present graveyard inside the village of Kemer. The area is revealed by chance while its zone was chosen for the construction of a new elementary school. Preparations process had stopped when archaeological remains had uncovered from the perimeter. We have analyzed the grave M143 and its findings, from necropolis. 7 unguentariums, 2 jugs, 1 candle and 1 patera have uncovered inside the grave. During our study, different objects and few pots that were produced few in number, were being analyzed from grave M143. They were dated to between the end of the first-second centuries AD
