Neonatal Marfan syndrome presenting with heart failure: A case report

Abstract
We describe a male patient with neonatal Marfan Syndrome presenting with severe heart failure and pneumonia. The patient had clinical findings of Marfan Syndrome including, arachnodactyly, hyperextensible joints, micrognathia, deep-set eyes and dolichocephaly. Echocardiographic study showed characteristic cardiac findings of neonatal Marfan Syndrome including, mitral and tricuspid valve prolapse with severe valvular regurgitation and aortic root dilatation. He died at the 32nd day due to intractable pneumonia worsened by cardiac problems.
