Abstract

We present two siblings with Werner syndrome; one of them with intracerebral calcification. Case 1, a 22-year old female was admitted to our clinic due to "diabetes mellitus and thinning in both wrists and ankles, and graying hair. Further investigations and family screening revealed that her brother (Case 2) had also similar complaints. Both had .pray hair and skin sclerosis.-A direct x-Ray and computed tomographic scanning of the cranium of Case 1 disclosed intracerebral calcification. To our knowledge, intracerebral calcification in Werner syndrome has not been reported in literature.
