Özet

Bu çalışmada, 40 adedi ishalli, 56 adedi sağlıklı görünümlü 96 kuzu ile 175 koyuna ait 271 gaita örneği ELISA ve PAGE yöntemleri ile Rotavirus yönünden test edildi. Ayrıca, 6 farklı koyunculuk işletmesinde bulunan 298 adet koyun kan serumu örneğinde BRV Northern Ireland 75/447 susu kullanılarak uygulanan mikronötralizasyon testi ile Rotavirus antikorlarının varlığı araştırıldı. Elde edilen verilere göre, örneklenen koyunlarda rotavirus enfeksiyonunun varlığı serolojik veya virolojik olarak saptanamadı.

Abstract

In this research, presence of Rotavirus antigen/nucleik as id was investigated using ELISA and PAGE technique in 40 diarrheic and 56 clinically normal lamb and 175 sheep in 5 intensive sheep flock. Additionally, 298 serum samples collected from in 6 sheep flock were tested for antibodies by microneutralisation technique. At the end of this study, the presence of the Rotavirus infection were not detected in controlled lamb and sheep serologically and virologically.
