Özet
Yirmi altı yenidoğan kadavrasının alt extremitelerinde yapılan diseksiyon çalışmasında sırasında bir kız yenidoğanda unilateral persistan areteria ischiadica olgusuna rastlandı.Foramen infrapiriforme'den çıkan bu arter ince bir dal halinde m.gluteus maximus'un deri yüzünde aşağı doğru seyrederek uyluğa ulaşıyordu.Bu seviyede aa.perforantes ile yaptığı anastomozlarla daha büyük çapa ulaşıyordu.Fossa poplitea'da ç i ft a.poplitea mevcuttu. Olgu arterin embriyonik gelişim sürecive klinik önemi dikkate alınarak tartışıldı.
Abstract
During the lower exremity dissection of 26 newborn cadavers,a unilateral persistent sciatic artery was found out in a female cadaver.This artery arose below the piriformis muscle as a thin branch,coursed downward deep to the gluteus maximus muscle and reached to the thigh.At this level,two perforating branches coming from the profunda femoris artery contributed to the sciatic artery.Additionally,two popliteal arteries were present in the popliteal fossa.This variation is discussed with its embryonic development and clinical importance.
