Özet

Bu çalışmada, okulöncesi eğitiın kurumlarında çalışan eğitimcilerin ilk yardım konusundaki bilgi düzeylerinin belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmamıza katılan eğitimcilerin % l6.7 si ilk yardım bilgilerini yeterli bulmaktadır. Ayrıca, eğitimcilerin % 62.3'ü ilk yardım eğitimi almadığını belirtmiştir. Bununla beraber, eğitimcilerin % 68.8'i eğitiın verdikleri çocuklarla ilgili ilk yardım gerektirecek bir durumla karşılaştığını ifade etıniştir. Sonuç olarak, ilk yardım uygulamalarında eğitim alan ve üniversite mezunu olan eğitimcilerin , eğitim almayan ve lise mezunu olan eğitirncilere göre daha doğru yanıtlar verdikleri bulunmuştur.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine of the level of knowledge of first aid of the educators working in preschools. 16.7 % of the educators participated in our study were of the opinion that their first aid knowledge was sufficient. Besides 62,3 % of the educators stated that they had not taken any first aid training at all. On the other hand, 68.8 % of the educators mentioned that they had faced with a case involving children whom they were training that required application of first aid. According to the results, it is found that the first aid applications performed by the trained and university graduates educators have more correct answers than the untrained educators and the lı igh school graduate educators.
