Özet
Splenogonadal füzyon, splenik ve gonadal yapıların intrauterin dönemde birleşmesi ile karakterize nadir görülen konjenital bir anomalidir. Bu anomali genellikle erkeklerde ve hemen hemen daima sol taraftadır. Splenogonadal füzyon özellikle sol tarafa lokalize intraskrotal ekstratestiküler kitlelerin ayırıcı tanısında göz önünde bulundurulmalıdır. Bu yazıda, sol skrotal kitle ile başvuran ve cerrahi eksplorasyon sonrası splenogonadal füzyon tanısı konan 25 yaşında bir erkek hasta olgusu sunulmuştur.
Abstract
Splenogonadal fusion is a rare congenital malformation characterized by intrauterin fusion of the spleen and gonad. This entity has a male predominance and it is almost on the left side. Splenogonadal fusion should be considered in the differantial diagnosis of intrascrotal, extratesticular masses especially localized at the left side. In this paper, we report a case of a 25 year old man who presented with left scrotal mass and after surgical exploration diagnosed as splenogonadal fusion.
