Periodontitisli bireylerde lokal olarak uygulanan ornidazol jelin klinik etkilerinin değerlendirilmesi

Abstract

The local administration of antimicrobial agents as an adjunct to mechanical therapy in the treatment of periodontal disease gain a lot of interest in the literature. In this study 15 patients who were diagnosed as advanced periodontitis were treated with the local application of ornidazole gel as an adjunct to mechanical therapy. In a period of 3 months no statistical significant differences were seen between the experimental and control groups.
