Özet
Çalışmanın amacı, Doğu Anadolu Bölge’sinde yer alan illerin hayvansal üretim değerlerindeki değişimin söz konusu illerin ekonomik gelişimlerine olan katkısını araştırmaktır. Panel Veri Yönteminin kullanıldığı çalışmada, panel sonuçları, hayvansal üretimin illerin ekonomik gelişimleri üzerinde pozitif ve istatistiki bakımdan anlamlı etkisinin olduğunu gösterirken, il bazındaki sonuçlar farklılık arz etmektedir. Elde edilen sonuçlar, hayvansal üretimin illerin gelirleri üzerindeki etkisinin zayıf olduğunu göstermiştir. Bu nedenle, bölgede faaliyet gösteren küçük aile işletmeleri yerine optimum büyüklükteki işletmelerin desteklenerek maliyet avantajı elde edilmesi, ürün fiyatlarına göre oldukça pahalı olan yem fiyatlarını düşürmeye yönelik politikaların üretilmesi gibi bölgenin yapısına uygun kalkınma politikalarının hayata geçirilmesi, bölgenin gelişmişlik düzeyinin artırılması bakımından büyük önem arz etmektedir.
Abstract
The aim of the study is to investigate the contribution of the change in the animal production valuesof the provinces located in the Eastern Anatolia Region to the economic development of theseprovinces. In the study using the Panel Data Method, the panel results show that animal productionhas a positive and statistically significant effect on the economic development of the provinces, whilethe provincial results differ. The results show that the impact of animal production on the incomesof the provinces is weak. Therefore, it is of great importance to implement development policies inaccordance with the structure of the region, such as supporting businesses of optimum size insteadof small family businesses operating in the region, producing policies aimed at reducing feed pricesthat are quite expensive according to product prices.
