Biz deçalışmamızda, Aristoteles`in tümevarım ve soyutlama ilkelerini tözle ilişki bağlamındadeğerlendireceğiz.
Abstract
Aristotle, who laid the foundations of the thought system up to the present, followed a more systematic path in understanding of existence and knowledge compared to previous philosophers. Aristotle, like his predecessors, accepted the notion of “universal”, but was separated from them in terms of the epistemic value he attributed to this concept. From Aristotle's point of view, science and knowledge are directly linked to universal concepts, but the way to achieve universality is through the particular. The determination of the basic properties of particles and universals is achieved through abstraction and induction. Therefore, both concepts are indispensable for Aristotle`s epistemology and ontology. In our study, we will discuss Aristotle's induction and abstraction concepts in relation to the substance principle.
